Story

​

When you're working with an engineer who has a crystal clear plan and has researched all of the products ahead of time, communication and details matter.

 

Our client interviewed 3 other contractors but ultimately selected us because of the attention to detail on our estimates and communication throughout the process. 

​

The new deck construction was pretty straight forward and by far the most challenging component was supporting the existing roof. We removed the old deck, beams and pillars while ensuring the roof was supported throughout the process.

​

A great plan was executed and before long the 8x8" rough cedar posts were being installed. We cladded the beam in matching cedar and the clients stained it to match their planters.

​

The custom staircase design is the favourite we've done to date and use it as a reference when talking to other potential clients. The LED lights pop at night and provide a level of intimacy that needs to be seen to appreciated.

​

While the staircase design might be my favourite, the client won over the hearts of our installers with home made pizza on his wood burning oven #perksofthejob.
